"Wonderful to see a new entrant in the fortified wine sector at a time when it needs it most. Meets the classic tawny tier with some developed age and plenty of dried fruit, raisin, spice, nuts and toffee flavours on show. Smooth palate and texture. Spirit tends to bring some heat to the finish, but it's pretty delicious, 91 points, special value".

"Ruby red core with a tawny tint at the rim. Christmas cake and cedar aromas. A big and boisterous wine with loads of sweetness lifted by blueberry and toffee, deeper cedar shavings and wood oil notes. Good length; tannins and alcohol bring control though the finish is a little edgy, 89 points".
