Description

"Hand-picked, crushed with 6% whole bunch, open pot ferment, plunged once daily, matured in seasoned French oak for nine months. Speaks of its North East Vic home, of dusty, earthy back roads and sun-filled vines. It's a friendly wine, generous and welcoming in black berries, black cherry, red earth, licorice spice, black olive, leather and savoury notes. The palate is mapped out in soft, textured tannins with dark, tarry elements. Wants to make friends and, at that price, it will, 90 points".
